Earlier today I saw an interview with a composer saying that video game music is the future of classical music. Was cool to hear that there are others who see what you’ve been talking about on the channel

Devs said they love gwent too, and gwent fans will be eating good. I don't know about y'all, but that's the most exciting piece of news regarding Witcher 4 we got.

Im anticipating the combat system. In witcher 3 it was very shallow. Im hoping for a combat system development

@@sebastianzarek7056 I hope they take cues from Monster Hunter. That franchise became absolutely huge since W3 came out and there is a lot you can borrow that would be a perfect fit for a witcher game.

@dud5606 I didn't like any monster hunter game I ever played. I hope they won't go into anything like that, more into dark souls style fights, but with more room for builds?

Not only Cyberpunk, the composer also worked on Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales and the Gwent standalone game. Severely underappreciated music in those.

The choir is beyond beautiful and so powerful. To me it sounds like the souls of the previous sacrifices resonating with Ciri in hope and vengeance, like seeing the light for the first time. I love how the main theme sounds, and it sounds to me also that its going to be the main theme. It REALLY reminds me of something, especially the cello version, maybe a path of exile theme?

The cinematic reminds me of that one quest in Witcher 3 where you get to choose whether to kill the Leshen and prevent unecessary deaths in the name of tradition as it makes their people stronger or not but breaking such tradition. If I remember correctly that is. I'm so excited for this. But yeah, the music is so gripping as always.

I'm glad there are still enough people who don't judge a game which hasn't been released yet. CDPR wrote great stories in the past. They handled sensitive topics like racism and sexism very well, so nobody complained. We saw a great trailer with a great Ciri with an authentic slavic styled village and a monster, where we can say: Yes, this is Witcher! And I'm not someone who finds everything positive in gaming industry nowadays(Concord, Dustborn, Dragon Age Veilguard...) I think you know what I'm talking about.

The music is great but I keep seeing all these articles about the next game being Ciri as MC as "Controversial". I love being Geralt but I spent a whole game sorta wrapping up stuff and seeing my baby girl grow up now is time for adult Ciri to be badass monster slayer, while Geralt gets his well deserved retirement (still kicks ass but only when he feels like it).

A lot of it is clickbait, gotta keep that in mind, whenever you see the media talking about how prevalent something is, assume it's maybe 10% of what they're saying at most. That is to say, yeah, there's probably been a very tiny amount of people whining about it, but so few that nobody would even know if these "news" sites hadn't milked it for clicks for a week

@@volmie I mean I am aware of the vocal minority being used by the media to manufacture drama (it's not new), I just more mean this sort of culture war adjacent BS is already creeping in and the game was just announced. I was just commenting my frustration with this crap becoming the norm.
@volmie
@volmie 4 күн бұрын
@@howitzer551 It isn't the norm though, if you dig hard enough you can find someone bothered about everything, but that doesn't make it a norm. I understand being frustrated, but the more those people get ignored the less what they say matters

@@volmie I think you are confused about what I am saying. I wasn't digging for stuff the article was like on IGN or Kotaku or something. Nor am I saying the vocal minority being inflammatory bs spreaders is the norm (minority mean its not most people). The Norm I don't like seeing be more and more established is the act of giving a platform for all the BS and making it a binary culture war this make you love or hate this product/person now and there is no in-between and your choice completely defines you as a person al for the sake of like sensationalized headlines and easy stories. That kind of "News" is becoming more and more prevalent and not just on the internet, also TV and even written sources now that large companies with ulterior motives are buying up all the remaining local newspapers. Maybe where you live is better but I just have to deal with it all the time (really check sources and get other viewpoints) and don't need it invading my hobby that I enjoy to relax. That's all i meant, I don't take the women hating Incels on the internet seriously.

@@howitzer551 I think you're misunderstanding me, I meant anyone (including these "news" sites) can find one person whining about something if they dig hard enough, and that doesn't make it the norm. It's always clickbait, almost always based on lies, and not worth even paying attention to.

Somehow you struck me as the sort of guy that somehow has500 hours in a big singleplayer game. I feel like most artistic people that have interest in games usually don't play a lot of games, but the ones they do they sink deep in. Just something I noticed.

I have around 300 hours in Witcher 3, probably more than 500 combined in 1-3, but I wouldn't say I'm excited. Maybe if I was past the 500 mark I would be. 😅 I'm more worried that they will ruin the franchise with a bad game, like every other AAA publisher out there seems to be doing.
