Luffy refused to join momonosukes alliance at first because it takes respect as the head of the samurai, it’s not just a favour. in order to take this seriously he needs momo to understand his position, he may be a kid but he’s the son of oden and he’s supposed to be the next shogun of wano. this is one of those top Luffy moments in my opinion, it reminds me of that vivi moments in alabasta. People can say what they want about Luffy as a character but he has such great character moments in the show Father

Later Naruto had enough self-reflection to empathize and break down his enemy’s delusions to reason with them.

On the sidest side note, the reason I really like Naruto and Pain moment is that Naruto didn't change Nagato. And he failed miserably at convincing him: the one question Nagato had for him, Naruto couldn't find an answer. And Nagato was having none of that, kept calling him out as naive all the way to the end. What made Nagato change his mind was Yahiko. Naruto said something Naruto himself couldn't have known about, because Nagato never told him: he said the exact same thing that made Nagato believe in Yahiko. That made Nagato realize that Yahiko died, but his ideals didn't. And this kid, who was strong enough to beat him, was like Yahiko. So he chose to believe in Yahiko again by leaving it to someone who could idealize Yahiko's dream better than Nagato could. I could write a whole essay about this, but in short Nagato's character arc was one of my favorite character arcs ever done in anime.

I think one thing that you are maybe misunderstanding is not that Jack is terrified of encountering Sengoku, Fujitora, Tsuru, and co. It is the fact that he HAS encountered them and got beaten the fuck up and now has trauma about encountering them. Thats the reason Jack was believed to be dead, just because of how badly he was beaten up by those three... so his line there is also probably meant to be kind of a jab at Sengoku, Fujitora and Tsuru, as none of the three actually ensured he was dead.

Somehow she forgot literally every time they said Jack attacked the convoy transporting Doflamingo forgot that we already saw the start of that flashback (where Jack did the whole "Who do you think I am!? We're doing this shit! LEEERROOOYYYY JEEEEENNNNNKKINNSS!" bit) after Dressrosa, and completely misinterpreted the flashback as Jack having a panic attack over the mere THOUGHT of being in the general vicinity of Fujitora, Sengoku and Tsuru. ....instead of, you know. One piece has a ton of politics even though it is subtle with the subject, once you catch up you should check up videos other youtubers have done of the subject, the drawk show had a great vid on the subject though I wish they had gone more in depth on the subject. Basically each big-time pirate runs their territories based on different real life existing political systems, Doffy for example was based on Francoism, won't spoil the ones you haven't seen yet but Big Mom and Kaido both run their territories based on how real life leaders ran their countries

I don't know if this is the best place nor the best time to recommend you a series, but, either way, I must ask you to watch Pantheon. I would love to give you a brief summary, but I want you to feel the full experience of watching it blindfolded. What I can tell you is that it's an animated show with an astonishing story, captivating human characters, and many impactful moments that made me (and I hope you too) completely perplexed with the show. I hope you to watch it at least till the second episode, I promise It will lock you in; either way, those two episodes would already satisfy my wish. Sorry for being one more asking you to watch something.
