I live in LA and have both Dodgers and Lakers tickets... as well a long time Chelsea supporter. Boehly does NOT run either the Dodgers or Lakers. In fact, until Chelsea, nobody had ever heard of him in sports. He is a 20% minority, silent shareholder in those teams. Mike Walter is managing partner of the Dodgers. He then hired Stan Kasten to run the club (and a genius baseball man). Buss Family run the Lakers (now badly). Boehly has no sports franchise operation background.

In biz terms, Toddy-B is facing a "hostile takeover" by shareholders. Not fun, but he brought it on himself with incredibly poor player management and player acquisitions. Hard to believe that he could be worse than Roman's "management team", but he CERTAINLY did. I mean Chelsea's idiot scout's told Roman to buy club-footed, 2nd-tier talent Timo Werner for God's sakes, and Boehly makes that decision look like a stroke of pure genius.
