Marcus Autism Center: Feeding Disorders Program

We understand how much feeding disorders can affect a child’s physical, social and psychological development. As one of only a few facilities in the country-and the only program in the Southeast-to offer evidence-based intensive day treatments for children with feeding disorders, Marcus Autism Center develops individualized plans with support from a team of specialists.
Feeding disorders can range from feeding tube dependence to a strong desire for unhealthy snacks to choosing to eat nonfood items like clay or dirt. In the Feeding Disorders Program, we teach children ages 8 months to 21 years how to eat and get the nutrition they need to function at home, at school and in other social settings.
