Yet another great acoustic performance from one of the best young artist playing today. Like Dylan he has a unique voice that you recognize as soon as he starts singing. I have been a fan of The Marcus King Band for several years but personally I think his acoustic performances show his true talent as an artist. His guitar skills and song writing along with that special voice will keep us listening to Marcus King.

This week I received my vinyl copy of El Dorado. It was a nice surprise seeing as things are on a slow delivery atm. Anyway, I got my turntable connected to my lates 70s Pioneer SX-1250, my old 70s Bose speakers that double as corner tables, and I put El Dorado on, sat in my comfortable pea-green colored chair, some cold beer and just relaxed. Thoughts of quarantine and house fever faded away. Let me tell you, listening to something like El Dorado on vinyl, you get warmth, a clarity and this feel that just doesn't quite come through on Spotify. Spotify is still my main source, but as a vinyl collector, this one is a classic. It looks classic too... like it's been sittin' in my dad's collection for ages.
