I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend seeing the Marcus King Band any/every time they are in town. From the killer horn and key section, to the tasty drumming, to the groovy bass playing, to Marcus's godlike guitar playing, they will blow your mind every.single.time.

@@bjornyesterday2562 ahaha I always used to say that Suzan and him and Dreck in general has so much in common! They are treasures of America, I'm a foreigner in America it surprises me so many people don't know them but they know Kardi B! Lol America really need to pay attention to it's beauty a little bit! so much concentration on the ugly side and ignoring the good. I mean two sides are important.

MK~ULTRA!! At the ripe old age of 22, Marcus King is one of the best, hottest acts around today! The entire band just oozes with talent and with their youth comes an exuberance that will excite ANY audience. He's already proven himself as one of the best and he's just getting started! I wasn't all that impressed with his dad, at least not in this instance, but then again, it's my first time seeing/hearing him play. They seemed to me, to be a bit "off key" in their rendition of IMO Elizabeth Reed. The performance is further marred by constant attempts to get their volume right. Although I should say that he seems like a nice enough fellow, and he and Marcus seem to have great chemistry together while on the stage. Guess I'll have to research him a bit, see what other stuff he may have out there. As for Marcus, the sky's the limit. His 3rd and latest album "Carolina Confessions" is a masterpiece and climbing in sales. "Good-Bye Carolina" is a really sweet melody and EVERY song on the record is good! MK talks about the writing of that particular song, and how he believes that his deceased friend, who was also a "great songwriter" (according to Marcus), should take credit for actually writing the song. He suddenly heard it all, in his head, and just, wrote it down. MK says "I take very little credit for the writing of that song." He does a GREAT acoustic version and tells the whole story, here ~~~~>>>>~~~~>>>> kzbin.info/www/bejne/sIG2gaqXoJaCaJI
