I’ve recently introduced Marcus king to Some of my Black friends and at first just let them listen to him through only audio. My brothers thought for sure this guy was an old African American soul from the Mississippi delta, or Memphis. They were blown away when they found out Marcus is a 24 year old white guy. Now we all just listen and contemplate just what this boy has been through in his young life to be able to sing with that kind of feeling!

This guy is literally the next Hendrix , Stevie Ray Vaughan, when it comes to being revolutionary, guitar players know what I'm saying. His cadence on the guitar is ridiculous , jaw dropping how clean he is
@sanjeevsubba36656 жыл бұрын
this is exactly what I think. The guy is not just good, he is exraordinary. Don't know how this is possible and it is a real mystery to me how in so young age he can play like that. His solos are just brilliant, really can't stop enjoyng watching him play for more than a year, since I first saw him on youtube. He is aleady among the best players we all had around for last 20-30-40 years, I don't know if people will agree on that but it is just a solid fact for me. Seems he was playing last 50 -60 years of his life but again I don't undertand how it is possible. Let alone the singing which just adds up to that but his guitar playing is just stunning. The guy is the absolute mistery for me and thanks God we have him.
@taggmanibanez6 жыл бұрын
I live a couple streets over from him in Greenville SC., it's crazy between 15 to 17 years old he literally transformed into the greatest guitar player I had ever seen.... , the other thing is, everything you see him do in videos is really the tip of the iceberg. I have seen him do things that seem literally psychically impossible, and he retains an almost hyper-musicality ( not shredding ). His memory for tunes is insane, his pacing too, it reminds me of Band of Gypsys Hendrix, just constant mind blown.

That, right there, was the very first Fender guitar I ever saw in the "wood," so-to-speak, around 1959. It absolutely crushed me and was the neatest thing I had ever seen, at 11 or 12 years of age.
