I really like this guy. I just love his and Monica’s show. It’s truly professional in every sense of the word. They don’t hold back, but there’s no ridiculous sound effects or spitting food out.

I have many favorites but they are all from the UK. Marcus, Gordon, Marco... Very different personalities, high standards & wierdness/genius. I love them all equally but Marcus has the biggest place in my heart. I love Marco for crazy, but Gordon for loyalty.

After 12 years in Catering I gave up in 2007. Probably would have continued if I'd been working under someone like him. Inspiring.

I hope Marcus and Gordon can sit down togather, have a chat and enjoy the company again. Maybe Marcus is the one key to reforge their friendship?

It's hard to know if is telling truth or not. Because with these chefs ,you don't know know always what goes behind the scenes.

He's way way better than Gordon Mouthy. You can actually afford to eat at is 1-star restaurant too. Unlike Loudmouth-say, who's portion sizes you need a magnifying glass to see properly.

Warring on Masterchef, Why? most of the dishes predominatley of Indian and Asian ectraction he has never herad from before let alone tasting it. When most od the dishes are Indian you would think that the BBC would have an Indian or Asian chef. But they have an issue with Indian/ Asian males. over 64 Indian women to every male on the BBC

He maybe a nice guy, but remember only 2 percent of the population can afford to eat his food, and they're usually city types, Russian oligarchs and Arabs. And those types of customers are so spoilt they have no passion for the food that gets put in front of them. It's also a defining habit of the Nouveau Riche to pretend that nothing can impress them. So these guys are cooking mostly for people who don't care - not such a great job after all.

For sure it's only a minority that can afford expenses to these types of restaurants on a regular basis. You do get some working class people who will save up for the one off special occasion along with junior/senior chefs wanting to get new inspiration. I remembered in the late 90's when you could get a 3 course set lunch with half bottle of wine, mineral water, coffee and petit fours for £40 service charge included at 2 michelin star Le gavroche (now £76)

Lol in what world do you live? Only 2 % can afford to eat his food. Did you pull that number out of your fanny? Sure, only rich Arab Sheiks & Russian Oligarchs eat at Marcus's restaurants. And I'm sure they are willing to cook expensive produce, only to have snarky businessman in the dining room rejecting it. Since they aren't impressed with the food after all & immediately throw it in the bin. I'm certain. I'm not sure whether to laugh at this stubborn ignorance or pray for you. Depending on how many courses and what not you can expect to pay between 70 & 300 Dollars/Pounds. Usually you will pay about 150 Dollars/Pounds per person just for the food. Keep in mind that the wine is usually what adds the most to the bill. Also, a restaurant like this isn't supposed to be a place to go to when you're hungry. It's a experience for your palate. Tasting flavor combinations you will most likely have never/rarely tasted before & being served some of the finest ingredients the world has to offer, being cooked & handled by people who have dedicated their lives to exciting other people with delicious food. Many ignorant people tend to ridicule the relatively small portions they serve at those kind of restaurants. But sometimes you get 10 - 16 courses of various food items. And if they would serve portions you get at a Diner, most wouldn't be able to eat even half of the courses. For some people food is more than just a basic need to satisfy hunger. Some people have a very sophisticated palate, & wish to be impressed with flavors, textures etc. What else?.....Hmmmm....Maybe Fork Off & Stop spreading false information. Or not Since the internet is a sea filled them already.
