Finally! We don’t have to switch between sounds and sequencer on the iPad n I can finally make a FULL track with FIGURE instead of just 8 bar phrases 🤩🤩🤩
@peterkadarmusic97283 жыл бұрын
Not only that, but if Figure supports sync from Ableton Link, you could get them to run together perfectly in time on your wi-fi network.

This was great man, thank you for the video. I have a Live, and I found a killer deal on a Force which is on its way. There are so many great apps for the iPad that it makes sense to integrate them like this. Even multitimbral apps like Korg's iM1 basically puts a whole rompler style workstation into your Akai with minimal effort.

What’s good beatMakers! It’s been brought to my attention that the type c camera kit is out of stock or no longer available 🤨 on Amazon. You can try one of the 3rd party devices or you can go with the much better iRig Pro Midi/Audio interface. It’s a little expensive but it work great for all iPhones and iPads. Blame Apple 😳 🙏🏾👊🏾 Get it here: iRig Pro Interface: amzn.to/2PvCtKL

If you advertise iPad as a Bluetooth midi device it will show up on force to create a wireless link. I record to spire which accepts two channel, large jacks and mix using a little bear mixer with output of both separate input channels from ipad and the akai.

Merci beaucoup. Thanks for this precious video. What I would appreciate to see is a video about how to create MPC instruments from the IPad. I bought lots of romplers, lot’s of apps for music on my Ipad, but By the time, the iPad storage size is reduced. What I would like to do is to save all my instruments in multi sampled MPC instruments. Sorry for my poor Frenchy English. Hope you understand.

I used the link, hope you got credit. You should consider making a FAQ video. Talk about the stand. Also, adjusting TC to 1/64 so what you play doesn’t get messed up. Also how the monitoring works, so you can hear yourself and what you record. And how to format your hd so you can find, using disk manager. Nothing on the force is easy. Love your channel, btw. You’re a big help. Thanks

I have been producing for over 11 years on fl studio, which I love the sound; however, I am ready to step my sonics up and get that Akai drum. I don’t have AUM, but have Audiobus, but can’t see how to set midi channels so guess I need to buy AUM. Without it I guess I can just use one iPad synth at a time? Also need to buy another overpriced camera kit, as I only have the old lightening one.

In a perfect world, the iPad and force would only need one USB cable to communicate audio, midi and power...

I wish more manufacturers would think more about iPad integration. I think it ends up being a bit of a moving target having to maintain support for a constantly shifting iOS though.
@okeribok3 жыл бұрын
@@peterkadarmusic9728 true. Everything could be wonderful if manufacturers just kept to the standards. Now cables physically connect, but the software won’t allow it.

@@okeribok Yeah. Remember when Alesis and TC (I think??) came out with iPad docks, and Akai with those Synthstation keyboards? Seemed like a great idea till Apple up and changed things on them, and that's just the hardware. How often do we have to update an app because iOS updated? Probably a few times a year, right? I'd rather see Akai add disk streaming before worrying about what the ghost of Steve Jobs might dream up next.
