Mardi v's Grande (Aldi) Blind Taste Test.

Loved watching this, whilst sipping a Grande! I do love a blind taste test - with foods too, snacks mostly - we’ve just done official mini cheddars vs Aldi version vs Lidl version vs Sainsbury’s version. But these beer and cider tests with Madame Director are excellent. Love your channel, love how honest you are and are ok if you guess wrong - makes it so much more authentic rather than editing that out! Just love the channel!🎉

I really enjoy the blind taste tests and genuinely have no idea which one I’m going to choose, it’s not about trying to find the ‘genuine article’ more about which taste better, the off brand or the label. I think the weirdest was the Aldi’s coffee stout, brewed by hall and Woodhouse ( who own badger brewery) which I tried with Badgers own coffee stout. The Aldi version is better, although that’s a win win for them I guess. Much appreciate that you took the time to comment, cheers .

Good review David. Aldi also has San Marcos (brewed in Spain) which is a San Miguel clone (UK version brewed in Northampton). Another possible review

What a dilemma having to choose between two beers 😂! Speaking of blind taste tests, maybe give Brewdogs Lost Lager VS Aldis Found Lager a go, that'd be interesting to see! Cheers David!

I've had Madri once , thought it was a very bland . I really don't like the deceptive marketing either.

Same bottle as M&S Spanish lager so it might be brewed from the Damm brewery
