We went last year, definitely eye opening to listen and see the Vietnam side. We also left with the feeling that we were glad we went. Crossing the road, we were told, hold your arm up and walk at a steady pace and the scooters and cars will go around you as they anticipate you. It’s a great city both modern and old definitely worth going. Ps great video

One of your best ! Really touching and moving. You are also so right to highlight that there is another tragic perspective to that war, not just from USA viewpoint.

Thanks for that. It means a lot. Hopefully it came across well. The War Remnants Museum is unmissable if you go to Saigon.

That was clearly a tough visit and I guess you had to be there. I know these two lovely people very well folks and could feel the upset and emotion inside Lisa, clearly affected you. Very well put together for anyone planning to go there.

Hi guys, We are new to your channel. We really hope to visit Ho Chi Minh City one day. Blimey! Those roads are treacherous! The zen harden looked glorious. We watched your fantastic vlog until the end and were moved to tears when Lisa cried following your heart breaking visit to the war museum 😢 It's now firmly on our bucket list 💔 Great job! Kind regards Lisa and Pete 🛳

Powerful stuff guys - A really well constructed account with heart and emotion. We did the same excursion and were going to do the War Remnants museum too but after a horrific incident on our journey in we decided to try and keep the rest of the day as upbeat as possible. This is one of your best videos for sure..

That sounds bad! 😲 Probably a good plan to accentuate the positive after a bad incident. Thanks for your kind comments. ❤️

Lots of young men here in Australia were called up to go and fight in the Vietnam war, including our friend. He didn't escape some of effects of agent orange but he was luckier than most of the local people. Thank you for showing your viewers the how awful it was and how futile. I've just subscribed.
