HiJoe, i used rkto fish a natural venue wher the undertow was that bad you could use a stick float. To catch the bream on thatcwater at 11mt they needed it static. Have you ever tried shotting float ( bulk about 2ft from hook) and use 0.5gm olivet on top of hook length 3inch hook leangth. Absolutely nails it. Also brill on slopes

If you think that place is in the open joe . You want to fish Blake hall near me it's high up and like Blackpool sea front when the wind picks up .we call it bleak hall lots of brass monkeys crying their eyes out 😂 . It's actually five moles from Alton towers.... When would you use a shallow spool as to a deep spool on a reel what difference does it make
