I feel like the concerns are real but I disagree with the approach that race theorists or this kind of rhetoric take. That story she told of a guy running from cops is just that - he ran from the police. Race seems to be one of the primary distinctions we make about people. Attire, body language, dialect- these are all ways we label eachother and perpetuate the conspiracy of separateness. Racism is a problem worth addressing, but the more pressing issue is general income inequality. Disappointed in MAPS for giving this stuff a platform, not surprised though.

Yes he ran, but you completely miss the point. WHY DID HE RUN? When you are innocent, but fear those that are meant to stand for justice. When you are innocent, but see those defenders of liberty methodically railroading; fabricating a stream of false accusations aimed at stripping you of freedom in the middle of nowhere.... WHY DID HE RUN?

Racism needs to be the addressed in the forefront. Sure income inequality is at its worse but it affects POC disproportionately more than whites. Smash the system.

Betcha this person is white... lol It is amazing how an empathy inducing medicine like psychedelics can still leave this many blind spots. I mean....I get it. talking about race is uncomfortable and the corporate media makes a lot of money turning us against each other so it is an either or thing. You are either with us, or against us. Left or right.... I dont know. I have been talking to indigenous people in my area and the harassments they get just for walking down the street is crazy. Cops can be some of the best people or the worst. Even as white person I am scared because you never know if this is one of the good ones or one of the bad ones.
