I wish cartoons were like this nowadays. It was so very sweet. My interpretation of the situation is that the old woman was wanting to visit the tree because it was meaningful to her. She wanted to feel as if she were re-living a special memory while she had the time to do so. The conductor was reluctant at first to oblige but soon was bribed and began to realise during the journey that this wasn't just some ordinary stop for some run of the mill passenger. The conductor saw their duty all the way through, even though they didn't have to, and took the extra step of creating another special memory with the old woman at the same place she was trying to relive a precious memory.

유튜브 추천영상에 있어서 아무 생각 없이 들어왔다가 깜짝 선물을 받은 느낌이네요. 할머니의 트램 여행에서 참 많은 걸 느꼈어요. 저는 평소에 버스를 탈 때마다 사람이 붐빈다고, 짐이 무겁다고 투덜댔는데 갑자기 그 버스 안의 시간이 누군가에겐 정말 소중한 시간이었을지도 모른다는걸 깨닫게 됐거든요. 그렇게 생각하니 집 앞의 길도 누군가에겐 소중한 길이 될 수 있고 학교 뒷산도 누군가에겐 소중한 공간이 될 수도 있고.. 더 나아가 온 세상이, 매 순간순간이 다 어쩌면 누군가의 소중한 것이 아닐까 하는 생각이 들어요. 이 세상도 할머니의 사진 속 잔디밭처럼, 잔디밭으로 가는 여정처럼 따뜻한 것이라고. 영상에서 만든 분의 마음이 얼마나 따스한지가 느껴지는 것 같아요. 덕분에 따뜻한 세상을 선물받았네요, 감사합니다. 답례로 제작자 분이 제게 선물해주신 세상만큼은 못하겠지만 제 소중한 세상을 드릴게요. 언제나 작가님의 주변은 행복과 따뜻함이 넘쳐나길!

This will probably get buried, but here it goes. I have had the pleasure to, over my few years as of yet, to work for a number of historic railroads. One of which, the Wiscasset Waterville and Farmington, originally closed in 1933 and was scrapped 2 years later, the museum to date has rebuilt almost 3.5 miles of track and runs some of the original equipment. One day, I believe 4 years ago now, we had a small family, 2 kids, their parents, and a grandmother. When our ticket agent asked if they'd ridden with us before, the grandma gave an interesting answer. "I have, but I can't remember it too well". Seeing her age, and assuming it was due to a mental condition, the agent asked; "wonderful, when did you last ride with us?" Too her utter astonishment, as well as the rest of us that were later told, The grandma replied "I was 8 years old the last time I rode your train, my father and I were going to see my uncle in Palermo" with the mother of the 2 kids chiming in that the year had been 1932. That being said, she had ridden on rails and had both gotten on and off at stations that no longer exist today. Watching this video reminded me why I do what I do, and part of why it brings me so much joy. Playing with the big iron horses is one thing, yes, but we also create, and (in my oppinion more amazingly) recreate memories.

I’d prefer it stay a short. The prospect of making something into a fleshed out movie/anime sounds good but in practice is really hard to pull off well. This is about two characters makin a trip to a photo’s location. 6 mins is enough imo attempting to needlessly extend it to movie proportions of 40mins - 1h is forcefully stuffing it with content that likely isn’t needed and would just make the journey more bland. Not saying it can’t be done well but I’ve seen to many things that attempt to be movies but have no business being one and it just ends up bad (ex video games into movies, etc)

Well, I may be wrong, but fire typically burns orange when there's an abundance of oxygen and a lack of fuel, so the fuel crystal exploding may have allowed his head to burn more efficiently, leading to a transparent flame!

후속작 언제나와요.. 퀄리티가 진짜 장난없네.. 연출, 대사 한마디도 없지만 캐릭터가 전달하고싶은 의미를 알것같고.. 그림체도 너무 아기자기 한게 귀엽네요.. 이런게 과제라는게 더 충격이기도 하네요ㅋㅋ 짧은 단편 동화 본듯한 느낌이 들어서 좋았어요! 특히 마지막 부분에 회상씬이 뭉클하네요..

ㄴㄴ우리나라도 시장이 꽤나큼 우리는 웹툰 이라는 시장이 있잖아요. 특히 네이버 웹툰은 세계시장 진출까지 생각하고 만일 세계시장 진출이 성공한다면 웹툰이 애니메이션이 될테니 국내 애니메이션은 발전하겠죠. 추가로 스토리가 아무리 좋아도 애니메이션을 만드는 프로그레머 라서... 웹툰작가가 아니면 애니화를 기대조차 못하죠. 그래도 마음의 소리나 놓지마 정신줄 처럼 한국도 점점 애니화가 되는 웹툰이 생기니 미래엔 우리나라도 애니메이션 만드는 사람들의 일자리가 생길지 모르죠.

@@kr_zzzz 내가 보기엔 아직 한참 멀었는데...나도 웹툰,애니 좋아해서 미술전공까지 하고 있지만 한국은 다른나라보다 퀄리티가 많이 낮음 애니메이션으로 만들만한 퀄리티는 거의 없고 있다해도 손에 꼽힌다고 봄 지금 각 요일 1위 웹툰만 봐도 신의탑,여신강림,유미의 세포,연애혁명,외모지상주의,용이 산다,열렙전사인데 솔직히....음....다른건 그렇다 쳐도 여신강림,연애혁명,외모지상주의는 얘네 셋은 애니로 만들기엔 굉장히 적합하지 않음 웹툰 자체가 드라마를 겨냥하고 나온것처럼 보임 우리나라 문화자체가 드라마 처돌이여서 이 드라마라는 틀밖으로 벗어나질 못함 분명 수만가지의 상상도 못할 일들을 벌일수 있는게 만화인데 이걸 굉장히 소비하고 있음 허구한날 일상로맨스지..... 그리고 우리나라 웹툰들 이미 해외진출 많이 했어요 특히 일본에서는 지금 치인트가 히트치고 있고 대만이었나 여기선 여신강림이 히트친다고 하더라고요 신의 탑도 미국쪽에선 꽤 인기를 끌고있는걸로 알아요 하지만 이 웹툰 다 끌고 와봐도 일본 점프에서 연재하는 만화 아무거나 가져와서 대서 비교해봐도 퀄리티가 현저하게 떨어짐 심지어 일본은 거의 흑백 만화인데도 퀄리티가 굉장히 차이남 우리나라가 애니까지 진출하려면 우선 작가들이 좀더 실력을 올려야 됨 요즘 거의 다 스토리, 그림 둘중하난 포기하고 한쪽에만 몰빵하는 웹툰이 너무 많아져서 몇백명이 투입되야하는 애니메이션을 투자하기엔 너무 비효율적임 대표적으로 스토리 버리고 그림 위주로 가는 여신강림, 그림 버리고 스토리만 몰빵하는 연애혁명.... 확실하게 말해서 웹툰>애니 이 루트 타기에는 우리나라 문화성향 자체가 너무 안맞음 일본만화랑 우리나라 웹툰 비교하면 뭔소린지 알꺼임 게다가 우리나라에서 나온 애니메이션들 거의 다 3D그래픽. 아니면 아주 간단한 그림그리고 몇번 조작만 하면 되는 제작비 저렴한 애니밖에 나오질 않음. 예를들어 뽀로로,코코몽,마소,놓정,파파독....한숨밖에 나오지 않음??ㅋㅋㅋ요새 신비아파트가 나오긴 했는데 그거 내가 보니까 프레임 정말 많이 깨지더라 애니라는게 자연스럽고 부드럽게 보일려면 적어도 1초에 60장정도는 그려야 되는데 20장도 안그리는거 같더라 특히 그...귀신? 소환하는 장면은 계속 재탕할텐데도 엄청 깨짐 거의 뭐 뚝뚝뚝뚝...입모양 너무 부자연스럽더라...그거하고 요괴워치 틀어주는데 기분이 진짜...ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 우리나라 애니메이션이 뜰려면 이런 애니만드시는 분들끼리 합치셔서 레드슈즈같은 애니메이션 원작 작품 만드는 수밖에 없음 그렇다해도 진짜 기적처럼 갑자기 우리나라에 지브리같은 회사 등장하지 않는이상 가능성x 앞으로도 계속 지금처럼 실력있는 애니메이터들 미국이나 일본에 뺏기는 상황 계속 될꺼 같음...으 한국....나도 미술전공으로 잘 가게 되면 한국 뜰꺼 같음 한국에서 애니사업 할려면....재벌 2세쯤 되야하지 않을까....

버스가 생긴 이후부터 아무도 찾아주지 않는 트램의 운전기사. 닳고 닳은 연료조각을 끼워서라도 다시 한 번 트램을 달리게하고 싶지만 쉽지 않다. 한숨을 쉬는 도중 한 손님이 찾아와 건낸 이제는 아무도 가지 않는 목적지 '꽃의들판'의 티켓. 한 번 교체하면 한 달은 달리게해 줄 빛나는 연료조각을 티켓과 함께 건낸다. 처음에는 조각만 얻으면 된다는 생각에 운전하던 트램. 그러나 어느 순간 추억을 넘어 기대감을 품은 승객을 태우고 있다는 사명감에 가득찬다. 끝내 도착한 그 곳은 그 누구도 찾지않았을 뿐, 여전히 아름다웠다. 마치 자신을 기억해주고 찾아온 승객을 반기는 것처럼. 이것이 바로 행복을 나르는 마거리트 트램기사의 첫번째 시작이였다. 애니보면서 눈물이 줄줄 나길래 드는 생각들을 정리해봤어요..!!! 너무 너무 멋진 작품 감사해요ㅠㅠ

I remember watching this for the first time, I was around 14 years old. I was going through a very hard time of my life then and most things in that time I feel very disconnected from however this animation stuck with me. Many times have I remembered it and went looking for it on the internet, not to no avail. And now, I see it on my fyp again and I just started crying watching it through. I am in a much better place now, and watching this vedio again makes it feel like I'm having closure over the rough times I have faced when I was suffering. yo i really love this. i wish we get cartoons like that.. its very sweet.. My interpretation of the situation is that the old woman was wanting to visit the tree because it was meaningful to her. She wanted to feel as if she were re-living a special memory while she had the time to do so. The conductor was reluctant at first to oblige but soon was bribed and began to realise during the journey that this wasn't just some ordinary stop for some run of the mill passenger. The conductor saw their duty all the way through, even though they didn't have to, and took the extra step of creating another special memory with the old woman at the same place she was trying to relive a precious memory. i really love the quality and emotion.. thats just crazy made by 2 people.. i really enjoy this..please keep up the good work!
