It takes a lot of rehearsal to lip all the new pre-recordings without faillures. And a lot of courage to lip 100% of the shows. I think it's not a happy moment for her to be on stage doing that... I feel bad for her, when I watch these videos. I've been a lamb since 90's and her live performances used to be the highest point of her art, in my opinion. But our love will never die... It’s still wonderful to see her … we need to remember her voice isn’t like everyone else’s - it’s a true instrument that she has to baby … I think we all know she can still sing … she wrote / writes difficult AF songs and she rather record a set of freshly sung versions and use that as a tool during her live shows

@@clemermoacir but does she have a lot to risk at the first place? Yes on a good day she can have a 2020 quarantine level of vocals but those days seem rare. Her consistency is damaged beyond repair, her pre-recorded tracks sounds highly edited. Unless she's resting her voice all this time for an important project and her vocals actually got better without us knowing; I say she should go for it since she doesn't have a lot to lose, plus the procedure is not too risky now. Obviously I'm not fully aware of her medical condition! My opinion is based on the possibility that the procedure can have good results and it's Mariah who's afraid to do it, if not then I understand her decision.

tbh my favorite Mariah 2024 live vocal is that „Why Should I Keep Hangin’ On” because her tone sounds AMAZING THERE, her lows were absolutely phenomenal (she hit a properly grounded D3 and even properly grounded B2!!) and plus she looked incredible but those vocals were insanely good🩵 i wish she just lowered the keys and sing live again, i don’t care about recreating studio vocals, i want her to sound COMFORTABLE bcs her tessitura obviously changed🙏

I think y'all are failing to realise; Mariah ain't singing live because she can't sing like she used to. She said it herself in 2018. She's on medication that doesn't make her feel 'TOO sluggish'. She can't guarantee she won't end up tired during a concert and the easiest way to avoid the bad press is to record in a booth and use it as "live" vocals. We created this, as well as her mental health.
