I love love love this reaction. Mariah is 50 years old and does not sound like 20, 25, 35 year old Mariah. For people to expect that is just dumb. Her voice is the product of some interesting vocal chord and nodule combination that is rare to see in superstar singers. It let her doing amazing things other singers couldn’t dream of. She’s unique. I for one am thankful I got the chance to be alive during all the phases of her voice.

Great reaction. For some reason people expect 50y/o Mariah to sound like her 20's. Our voices change, we mature, and she has vocal nodules which impacts her. Even so, her songs were vocal suicide for a lot of singers. She sounds great. Her agility and transitions are still top tier. That falsetto to chest, mmm. Thanks for reacting to this!

The fact that you went from not really know anything about Mariah before your channel to singing one of her oldest songs today shows that you’re a real one and not just reacting for the sake of views! Alitttle fact about Mariah that makes her so unique and amazing is that she has had vocal nodules since she was small child which is essentially damage on her vocal cords that can make it very hard to talk, let alone sing at times(also why her taking voice is so husky). The nodules are the reason she has a developed whistle register though. Having the career that she did with constantly putting her voice through the ringer/ having to sing around the nodules and still being able to sing 30 years later is mind blowing 🤯
