I had about the same reaction to the album when it came out, aside from the fact that basically every song seems to be my taste, though I admit A Normal Life, Haven, Lightning and Thunder, and Down to You are my favorites. When I listened to the end of the album, Haven, I had about the same reaction when I heard the Ever After callback (since Ever After is perhaps my all-time favorite MT song, and my entry to the band). Don't listen to the people who told you not to sing, I like your voice a lot and I too bop when I feel like it.

I cried with you and am SOOOOOOO HAPPPPYYYY THIS REACTION IS EVERYTHING for me it was 2013 as well, Havent Had Enough was the first track. I had an ex that sucked the life out of me but i loved him and just remember listening to the opening/title track of ever after over and over so whenever I hear that harmony, it brings back so much awareness of how much i've grown. To have the album end with Ever After made me LOSE MY MIND. it wasnt until JUST now that i realized he put it in not to just call back the old albums but rather he included that because it leads into the very end where he is singing "I know a place where I belong, in my EXTRAordinary life" and end it there BECAUSE HE FINALLY GOT HIS EVER AFTER OMG. Now I'm engaged to the love of my life over a decade later after that guy, so the parallels of a heros journey and the ever after of it all just pairs so well with my life right now that its like damnnn. They really got me through it damn

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: this album is such a huge love letter to the fans. The callbacks to previous albums, coupled with the cinematic storytelling throughout it is such a treat to the ears- it was such an incredible experience listening to it when it dropped, and I’m glad you enjoyed it too! I do agree that some parts of it are really repetitive, but the rest of the album and how it builds up from those parts make up for those shortcomings. Such a good album. So so good!

@@Artoriaoftheabyss Worlds Collide is by far my fav of the album! The beginning piano to orchestral part is just so beautiful, and the halfway point were it takes a sharp turn to darkness and builds to the Masterpiece Theatre lll callback- so good!!
