I loved Marianne Faithful back in the sixties and love Marianne Faithful in 2024 Marianne Faithful has more humility and understanding in the tip of her little finger than some here who posted negative comments. Give her a break and what were you expecting to see? Marianne singing as beautifully as she did back in the sixties while doing cartwheels after all she's been through and going through now? Shame on you and you've missed the point but then again if you didn't live through the sixties i understand. (sort of?) She honored the audience and i respect her now as i respected her way back then. Peace.

Loved the band especially the sound of the organ. Thought it was beautiful. Unfortunately, Marianne's deep throated voice was incongruous with the band sound which was sweet and gorgeous. She seemed to be struggling. Sad really. That aside, I will say she sounded very nice and sincere when she spoke to the audience after performing that lovely song.

A woman her age can still sing well. Look, for example at Joan Baez. It wasn't heroin that destroyed Marianne's voice;it was the years of chain smoking. To me, this video is an embarrassment watching a not unattractive older woman - actually just a few years older than me - unable even to carry the tune. If I weren't such a big fan, I'd let it just past, but I am practically in tears.
