I love hearing Marianne singing these lovely folk songs. She had a perfect crystal clear beautiful soprano folk voice in those days. I was also a huge fan of the other folk singer ladies, Joan Baez, Judy Collins, Sandy Denny, Joni Mitchell ( 1960's &`early 70's Joni that is) when she was still in the folk genre.

Been a fan of Marianne for as long as I can remember. I know the album these songs come from very well ( Come My Way ) but this is the first time i have been able to watch her singing them. Thank you for posting. God bless.

Hi friend, thanks for the best wishes- most of my hair fell out, anemia from a decade of being a vegetarian- I still loathe eating meat, feel like a cannibal, but! I am worried sick about my hair- even though it isn't glorious like yours. An awful event happened in my city three days ago so I spent much of last night listening to Sandy's Who Knows Where the Time Goes- many of her songs suit you and of course Lady Faithfull- I always wanted her to cover that beautiful "lament" but perhaps she deferred to Sandy and was satisfied with "Crazy Lady" (I prefer Marianne's version). I PROMISE to keep in touch. Do you like Leonard Cohen- I am sure I have asked and can't remember if you said yea or nay. Marianne did a terrific cover of his Going Home- there are quite a few Cohen songs that she could have done before her breathing got so bad. Do you know how she is? I can never find current info on her- it's corny but, hugs, etc! (your picture sits on my rad in between Leonard and Damien Rice, who are propped up against Frank Zappa as "Chunga" - he's wearing leopard brief briefs and holding a cigarette or a joint- it was on my very old, very elegant front door but my square-ball husband made me take it down! Keeps the under 25's on their toes- WHO IS THAT GUY-? actually annoys me a tad as do the questions about the Dalai Lama and the Amnesty sticker- we support Amnesty as they get more done than any lousy govt. Tom Waits is tango-ing next to my elbow- he says "hey Eric"- I'm re-wallpapering! Keep well. Really need that song of Sandy's- deep depression- and my ref to low key substance- I mean REALLY low grade but... whatever gets you through the night. Namaste "Zoe"

Hi Eric Happy New Year! if you get a little "noise" every time you receive an email! (People think I am an idiot if I leave a comment below something posted several years before- ah yes, as W.C. Fields would mutter- one simply cahn't, seriously dahling, hit the person's official icon or photo and direct an email and on her birthday last Sunday night, Dec. 29th I couldn't even locate your channel- I hope you survived the holidays and have a healthy, safe, what-ever-the-fuh- you want New Year's Eve tonight. I don't smoke, don't want to ruin my Faithfull-esque pipes! but in her honour I "smoked" a Sobrani (pack was gift from former hairstylist), weed would have been so much better yes. Were you perhaps lucky enough to celebrate Lady Faithfull's birthday WITH HER? I am nosy aren't ?! I hope she spent the holidays with her family and that tonight she doesn't lose her balance. Seems more aclimatized to loafers (boring yes) than those gorgeous Louboutin's she used to adore. If you are lucky enough to be spending the end/beginning of the year with her (lord I hope we get rid of the Trumpet, - I am Canadian, a "Mexican in a sweater" isn't that how he refers to us?), do have a splendid evening. @@EricTerino Hi Eric, What a "reprobate" I am- I send an email thinking, "gee I never hear from so and so" and then don't check my mail. Duh! I adore Sandy Denny- can I find your cover someplace? I was hospitalized for 6 awful weeks Jan 2023- twisted bowel- I got cut up like a stuck pig but they tell me "the surgeon saved my life"- my body looks disgusting and some clothes don't fit and nearly all my hair fell out and no, my G.P. can't find any logical reason- I am happy your life is great. Hugs, Love, Namaste from Faithfull Forever- have you seen the interview, very candid Marianne did for Aussie tv? I just discovered it- about drugs, booze, suicide- as usual she handled the questions with honesty and grace. I still miss my low grade substances- I wish I didn't but I do.
