Connie​ oh i get what you mean. lol. african american hair can be styled like this naturally unlike european who have to style it like this. i think it actually looks more natural on an african american head because it curly and wavy. if you think about wouldnt it be considered an afro? lol

My cousin really did have a Marie Antoinette coiffeur. It was frizzy and puffy if you look at her portrait with her and her children. She's wearing a velvet dress and a small hat. Her hair is exactly the way my cousins once wore it!

+jennyendlessly if you tease it gently it doesn't cause a lot of damage. Just use a deep conditioner afterwards.

As long as you don’t do it every day it’s perfectly fine, just soak it in conditioner before brushing out and you’ll do fine!!
