I to was jw for 30yrs then became Evangelical Christian in 2004. Im so free now leaving both behind. I realize now how Jesus is really speaking to us. Spiritual awakening has begun. What a journey as I learn! Life is precious ❤️ No shame, blame or guilt any longer. Amen

I was raised Catholic studied with Jehovah witness and seventh day Adventist searching for the bible truth and found it by reading the scriptures on my own and in a non denomination God and Jesus believing church.

VERY nice. I became a JW- raised a Baptist, became interested in Eastern religion, philosophy, then agnostic- then JW. Nice ending with a cleanup mode intact.

The way an evangelical church treated me, nearly made me homeless, didn’t want to know when my close girlfriend, who was also a Christian, died at 40, I was ostracised for my conduct. No forgivenesses as Jesus taught, ended up converting to Islam! How can a loving God create people with the sole intention of sending them to hell? (Strict Calvinism)

Not all Christian believe in Calvinism. Not all Christians believe in the traditional doctrine of hell. I believe in conditional immortality. I don’t think there is any good reason to trust that Mohammed was a prophet. I suggest you search for seeking Allah finding Jesus. Also read the book the case for Christ and search online for David wood. I am so sorry the way your church treated you

I am also Ex-Christian based on my experience truth doesn't exist in the God of the bible, he is a liar, discriminatory, partial, racist, cruel, unjust, takes pleasure in human suffering I am happy I left christianity

@@ellasmith6554 there are some good ideas in the bible, but also so much cruelty and bad ideas. how would an almighty loving god allow this in his holy book? and even the teaching of Jesus puts so much constant shame into people. In a lot of ways christianity is like a toxic relationship: of course there are some good parts, but the thing as a whole is unhealthy and damaging
