My cousins children were raped by my uncle who was an elder.....when the girls finally told what he did (and there were 2 of them) all the elders did was call on him and talk to him....never asked to talk to my cousin or the children themselves. Their policies for handling child molestation are geared towards saving face rather than serving justice! Thank you both for your work to expose this🙏🏼

This was an outstanding Revelation of facts that pertain to so many similar cases and experiences of Jehovah's witnesses worldwide. Thank you, John, for sharing your personal family experience and the trauma that on a positive note resulted in the escape of your entire family from this destructive cult. I was also a born in JW and now at age 64 am about 20 years out. Interestingly it was a similar escape in that my being appointed as an MS was my "peek behind the curtain" and awoke me to the Hypocrisy and deception that is the everyday reality of this false high control religion (cult). Like you, it was not the Doctrine per se that tweaked me but rather the obvious lies and cover-ups at all congregational levels that led me in time to go back and investigate further and come to see the complete moral depravity that is this Organisation. Thanks to you and faithtofaithless for producing this video, it will be of assistance to many who suffer under this cult.

At the 37 min mark you spoke about the elders not knowing the pedofile had been disfellowshipped as this was likely done at branch level. When I was ' in' I was told by an elder that once a case of child abuse has been confirmed either by confession or proof, Bethel will automatically disfellowship now and a judicial is not always necessary. I believe this is an attempt to stop any information getting out, or being held within KH safes.

So in Watchtower’s Hedge Funds RAND was listed, and other things like Monsanto, and a bunch of corporations that we would get hauled into a Judicial Meeting if we had Hedge Funds in those corporations...like that make weapons, etc...

I went to a pioneer sisters funeral and the elders told me not to talk to her daughter who id never met . I was shocked by the lack of love ,I ignored them I gave her a cuddle and talked to her for a hour and her worldly friends. I got told of by a elder. Then I saw the royal Australian commission and for the next 4 years 2014 to 2018 I researched jwfacts.com and stories of how disfellowshipped people cope with losing their families so cruel and in living if my jw wife died I would be shunned at my own wife's funeral .I dissociated 2 years ago and my wife is still one but inactive I can't wake her up but I hope she sees the light ,she's been inactive for about 5 years and doesn't get visits because I'm a apostate and always say hello to jws . Nicole my wife her inactivity made it so much easier to leave she still believes watch tower but her excuse for not going to meetings is bad health . It so good to be out and free .warm apostate love Justin porter at the moment I'm a auxcillery apostate but hope to be regular the a special apostate if I can get my hours in

John, that horrible feeling in that judicial meeting you felt - when your conscience and your mind were struggling to come to terms with the inconsistencies and incongruence is called cognitive dissonance. Cognitive dissonance is our human inbuilt alarm system that tells us when something is not right. Good on you for listening to yours.

I understand about the extracurricular activities being frowned upon. I got the lead part on a school play to be performed at night. After much convincing, my father allowed me to perform at it, but the family were not allowed to come. I was not allowed to go to school camps and do all the fun bonding activities with friends because the witnesses thought such activities were an open door to a hotbed of fornication.
