Crust in the oven! Question - Do I use the same blind-bake method for a pumpkin pie?
@marieskitchen6 ай бұрын
Hi! Thanks so much for watching 😊 I do not blind bake for pumpkin pie, but if you wanted to, yes you would use the same method except not cook as long because the crust will also have to bake with the pumpkin filling for over an hour. Does that help or have I confused you more? 😅 Let me know - always happy to help!

HINT: I run coconut through a food processor, about 6+ pluses, to make pieces of coconut smaller. This avoids chewing on a “WAD” of coconut. I do it anytime I use coconut! Makes a big difference!! TEMPERING EGG- I put yolks in bowl, using hand held mixer, slowly add cup or two of hot liquid while mixer running….easy, no worries about getting scrambled eggs!
