ok I understand all this but I have a question I am buying a house threw Islamic banking. they want to do musharak I told them I want to do murabaha they didn't want to do that. so the house cost 400,000 and I only put 25% that is 100,000 the bank is 75% partner I am 25% partner now I have a 30 year agreement with them to buy there share. so I will be paying them rent and the more money I put the rent goes down and the balance goes down. ok this is all good but then they said that the property tax and the insurance was all on me because I am staying in the house why am I the only one paying for this??? I thought we was partners and we had to share all the expenses? so please correct me if what they are doing is halal or haram. When I did the math within 30 years they made $300,000 profit off me. so what is the difference between this and a normal bank that charge interest??? The faster I pay it off the less profit the bank make its both the same same situation! jazakallah khair!

Yes...he is entitled to charge extra fee for his/her services rendered. while he/she also equal partner in profit.
