As a Disabled Veteran with chronic pain in my neck, lower back, both knees with one totally replaced twice with failed results. Triggered fingers in both hands and constant headaches. VA pain management is a joke and their medication for chronic pain is basically narrowed to life or death situations. Living in constant pain is very depressing to say. What ever the out come for approval of marijuana for pain. I just may be interested in trying it to see how effective it is for my pain.

Most importantly-Schedule III means “accepted medical use”. Is your marijuana use done under the care of a licensed doctor? Do you have a prescription? If yes to both, you good when schedule III is finalized.

Nah, states can be more strict than the federal government so it really doesn’t change much other than you’re getting the federal government’s blessing. Technically right now even though the states legalized it for medical use, the federal government could raid those places. They don’t but if they wanted to, they could. Once they lower the scheduling to allow medical applications, then the stores don’t have to worry about raids.

I emailed the dot drug enforcement department as I am in pipeline work and they confirmed the dot “does not recognize schedule 1 narcotics for medical or recreational use despite state laws” im from cali. Now that it’s dropping im assuming either they have no choice but to let us since it clearly stated schedule 1 or they can be dbags about it and say no schedule 1 plus no cannabis

Yes I have the same question, I work on the tracks and I was allowed to take Adderall for adhd while I was working, it should be no different regarding cannabis but I'm not taking that risk until I know for sure, also when that period opens up we should ALL ask for DESCHEDULING COMPLETELY!

Cannabis has been legal in Canada for over five years and the sky didn't fall. You can legally buy, possess and grow your own (except Quebec you can't grow). Every town has a dispensary that sells Cannabis. No spike in DUI car crashes or OD's. Bonus, the police can spend their time going after real criminals like hard drug dealers etc.

Every weed smoker is at risk for getting a dui because of the strict 5ng ml cutoff point. One puff of that and you will fail a drug test the next day. It's insane. If you get in an accident and the officer thinks you are impaired and you use a blood test to prove otherwise you are fucked. It's absolutely messed up and it happened to me. So unfair and cruel.
