Such a great, underrated guitarist. I once heard the perfect description of his playing style. It was described as "if David Gilmour had joined Genesis".

2020's lockdown gave me the chance to discover music. The best discovery was Marillion and I've been listening to them almost nonstop ever since. Always featuring prominently in my playlists. Steve Rothery is my new guitar hero. "Ocean Cloud" got me through 2020.

What I enjoy so much about Pete's interviews is that he has the great advantage of not trying to be a professional interviewer. He is an enthusiast with excellent knowledge and that's what makes these great conversations.

Great interview! I saw Marillion here in London Canada not long after H joined. It was in a bar just after a major snow storm. There was hardly anyone there but they still put on a great show. H was using those finger cymbal thingys at the time. Anyway I was on the fence about them after Fish left but that show made me an even bigger fan.
