Yes, Marylyn, it's quite beautiful. The line work looks softer to me. The aged backround color looks golden. Thanks for sharing!

Oh, I love this tarot! HES is my happiest Marseille Tarot! It's fantastic! I adore it! Thank you for featuring this special tarot on your channel, Marilyn! I love the quality of Giordano's decks too! And it is so wonderful that Giordano includes a hand-written note with all of his decks! xx

Thank you for watching Mascha. This is a very friendly deck. More and more, the Swiss and German decks are becoming my favorites along with my Italian decks. They bring a lot of fun to the table so to speak. Which is cool since fun is key to enjoying a card game. Maybe that's what they had in mind. xoxo ~ Marilyn

@Richard_Boo Lol, I have been told I'm an enabler. But I am learning to wear that hat proudly. I thought you already had it? Once I saw that extra card in the Miller deck (I think it was) I was smitten with whatever this deck might be. Based on the name and the box I was sure I had already bought it. But it was definitely not in my collection, so I must have intended to buy it once I moved. I simply could not resist. I won't eat for a few days 🤣.

The Hess looks like it’s a copy of the Noblet. I see so many similarities such as the the black areas under the Chevaliers/Knights and the general look of it.

Definitely Mozart. He was really into card games and gambling. I wonder if it’s possible that he used a Germanic deck such as this.
@MarilynFromTarotClarity Жыл бұрын
@shelldavid-easttarot4585 I think he must have, and the dates makes me think maybe the Miller. I'm sure I said Beethoven because of the dates of the Hes deck. I don't think Mozart was even born until 1756 and the Hes came out in 1750 which time was is more agreeable with Beethoven who was born much earlier. But who knows if Beethoven even played cards? I think I got confused because of their ages and the respective dates of the decks. But in any case, it's fascinating to imagine any person in history playing with any of the historic decks. That really fascinates me. ~ Marilyn
