@@DIYfam simple 3 way rig. 3-4 feet leader with size 2/0 J-hook on sliding snell knot and size 2 treble stinger. 8-12 oz ball ot torpedo weight on 12-24 inch leader.

😂😂 Maybe the laxatives was my game plan. I was getting so frustrated by the little croakers taking all my bait. Luckly TLA had some extra bait 😀

Both of you caught some nice fish. Surprised that those croakers had their way with your bait. I used to have lizard-fish steal my bait a lot, especially if the water was still pretty warm. Enjoyed a full watch. 👀

Moo..on your brined bait..you have it in liquid . Can you just put brined bait in Tupperware. , without the liquid , and still have good bait firmness ? I'm worried I'd spill solution all over my kayak too , giving it a new color .

I think it won't stay firm and shiny as long. I spill my blue juice all the time and it dies come off easily with a light sponge scub.

😮 I had no idea those things were out in the ocean. Let alone that small taking a whole anchovy ON THE MOVE. That seems outlandish. I thought they were bottom feeders. They are always stealing my bait in San Pablo bay when fishing for sturgeon. Annoying little booger’s they are! Nice job on the hali though.
