I think the thing is she is very unique and generally speaking the more unique your sound the less universally popular you are going to be, I think you either go one of two ways her fans adore her I now I do like I think her, Freddie Mercury, maybe Gerard way are the singers who I’ve just never been so mesmerised by in my life. If you read the comments on her videos or you talk to her fans, they don’t just like her, they absolutely love her. What they usually do is actually shoot all the scenes in full length, but when videos are slowed down like they are here there is a trick they do so that her mouth stays in sync with the original tempo. They play her the song, let's say 40% faster and make her sing to it and later on, when the video gets slowed down just about enough for it to be in sync with the original tempo of the song, they cut it up and choose which pieces look the nicest. Long story short, in all of these scenes she sang the entire song faster than you are hearing and every scene was around 2 minutes in length. Hollywood infected your brain, you wanted to make a joke.

This song gives me chills after almost 6 years. I remember being 8 or something when I saw this music video the first time on Tv. Actually I thought the Diamonds were her background dancers in the video haha. I just couldn't get my eyes of her. And I couldn't really decide whether I liked her voice or not because it was so special. After a long amount of time i forgot about her and when the EH era started I found the TFJ cd in the library. It was about to close and I had to get out of there but in the very last second I took the CD with me. I'm so glad that I did. I listened to it over and over again. I couldn't stop and I got obsessed with her. Marina is just such a unique and talented singer. I can feel her songs, her emotions and her worries. It's just indescribable what she does to me.
