Same 🥹💚 And she had some great insight too. Like literally exactly what I needed to hear. I wish she’d write a book or something because this woman is remarkable and has such an intuitive mind . She could really help people too , somehow comforting to know even those who have it all can get sick just like everyone - and recover !

"You forget how healthy feels" - Literally this was me for several years not knowing how chronic my illness was. I finally had surgery to remove what was causing my chronic illness and now I remember what normal feels like! Thank you so much for talking about this Marina. And thank you for Chronic Comeback for having Marina on. I wish you all the best in the future!

I've thought for a long time that many celebrities might be going through chronic illness but just masking constantly. Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga are other examples. I hope that Marina knows she is very brave and not only speaking up for herself but also for the voiceless people around the world suffering like her ❤

Oh this video and Marina are heaven-sent. I was a sickly person since I was a child. Had long Covid which lasted year and a half, now again for the second time... It's almost like PTSD. My life was stressful and constant struggle. Lately I was listening a lot of Marina's work, including her interview where she talks about her writing poems and I don't know. I think this woman does a lot for this society and she cares. She doesn't know how many times I've listened to "I am not a robot" while working in this condition, as a software developer who is simply sick of this stupid corporate game and money chasing. I just want to isolate somewhere and breathe forest air, eat cucumbers I grew in my garden and pet my cat until I can't pet anymore. I feel like life and struggle here made me sick. And for what, to be right now at the position that pays the bill but I'm so broken I can not be free. Anyhow, I am thankful someone speaks about important things and there are many bitches (not only in Hollywood lol) who are hidden witches and try to help out the world lol

Hopefully I can try do to what I can to get my sleeping schedule under control a little more... Thank for this episode, guys 💖

everything you both said makes so much sense, around 2015 to now i live with cfs, anxiety, pushing myself, ignoring my body, and not prioritising nutrition are all factors that i relate to. It has taught me to change my priorities alot and my alertness and decisions now are more selective. Lately ive been getting into using the sauna which is meant to help the body adapt to stress and i think may help the body build resiliance again

I admire her for her courage and perseverance and I hope she won't have to struggle with problems like this again. We love you Marina ❤

There are few health challenges more frustrating than looking perfectly normal while feeling like the end is near. Anyone with Crohn's knows exactly the dynamics she is describing; healthy and exuberant looking, but feeling mentally, spiritually, emotionally and especially physically like the life force is being drained right out of them. Marina' assessment of social media is so spot-on that I had to back up the video and watch a second time. I bailed-out on social media in 2018, best decision I ever made.

doing a lot of plane travel can mess with your health, via emfs, time zone shifts, bugs from other travellers etc. Add to that grief, stress, overwork, vaccines, poor diet, gut issues from over use of antibiotics and it's a perfect storm for CFS. I notice she listed a lot of these things. Except for the vaxes, which are not to be underestimated. Recreational drugs like cocaine, alcohol, meth etc. can also contribute.

I suffer from something similar but dont even have the energy to get it researched. Attempted a few times long ago but doctors didn't do much with it. I'm in so much pain, I was wrapping a gift and i became exhausted. It's rediculous. I been a Marina fan ever since 2011 ish. My friend Jordan introduced me to her. Me and him and similar issues thats why we connected so much. He sadly passed away. Marina was his favorite artist. I wish he could have seen this. He felt a huge connection to her. Oh btw i think around 2013 I got a marina ticket and didn't even go. I was too exhausted. Ofcourse I beat myself up for it. It's terrible suffering from this when you don't wanna be the person that whines. I also been through red skin syndrome for 9 years. I swear steroids destroyed my life and nervoussystem. It was traumatic to say the least. I also have the complex of not afraid of not being believed, like Marina talks about.

Brain training programs are not inaccessible. There is heaps of free information online. Curable is an app you can use whenever for just $100aud a year. You want a magic pill to fix CFS. Not everything can be "cured" like that.

@@JLX1373 it definitely does for me. financial stress has been the single biggest factor making it hard to have enough spaciousness to focus on repairing my nervous system, engaging with trauma healing resources, etc. not to mention actual medical treatment back when i was going that route. unquestionably money makes a HUGE difference. all my friends who have recovered from cfs had full support from either a parent or partner, and for myself, i can definitely see how the times ive had bits of financial support here and there have helped me gain my footing. No shade to marina, but chronic illness most definitely cares how rich i am. not sure your situation @jlx1373 but if you dont have financial support and have cfs id be curious for your take. if you do have financial support, id encourage you to reflect on and appreciate how that benefits you. peace.

@@iustjjnI'm assuming you're a man, right? Most men don't get any support actually. And I agree, most recovery stories have the factor someone being helped massively, most of the time it was women. Not sure if it's just my observation though.
