Yes! It’s crazy how mean her own fans are to her. She’s in her 30’s now and has grown and can write about different ideas and experiences. I honestly don't understand some of the fans. Sometimes they get too childish and aggressive towards artists, as if they owe them anything. People change. Physically, mentally, musically. Interests change. Everything changes. Imagine staying the same over the spam of 10+ years. Artists like her make art as a self expression, not to accommodate for fans' interests. They are not machines here to provide us with entertainment, unlike popular Hollywood opinion. Fans-artist bond is not an eternal one. If it hits, it hits. If it doesn't, don't go around throwing hate like during L+F era (which btw was a super nice, relatable and mature album). Been a fan for 10+ years because of the journey, not because I liked a certain album vibe (e.g. EH) and wanted everything to look and sound like it.
