She went with the easy catch, a regular guy with a rich father and everything.. at some point i realised why I used to seperate myself from society so much. Why i ran with the outlaws and hated ones. I feel like in a lot of ways L+F was sort of needed reset for MARINA. It was a great album, however I can tell that the album wasn’t made for anyone else but her. Which can be a great thing as an artist to do but at the end of the day, I feel like these new songs+music videos have a much broader appeal and I love the fun, campy and vintage vibes I get from it. It feels like what you would get if you combined her previous 4 albums together and it makes me happy in the inside because it’s taking everything that was good and putting it together.
