Reshared video. This is poetry in motion! JROTC units cannot execute the mirror present with the rifle guards in competition, but it sure looks good. Notice the rifle guard who does not lower his foot like the others during the colors reverse.

Fun fact: The sea service colors differ from the Army and Air Force in that the departmental is dipped on the first note of the national anthem instead of on the command present arms.

That's inaccurate. All services departmental and organizational colors are required to only dip on very specific circumstances, one being the first note of the Star-Spangled Banner. The others are the first note of Taps, salutes to the President, VP, Secretary and chief of staff and equivalent of each service, and unit commanders for the org colors. It's not just sea services.
