@SniparSkills 1. Since your west of the Mississippi you will be sent to San Diego for boot camp. 2. You might get stations at camp pendalton or 29 palms which where i was stationed but you could end up at lejune or okinowa it all depends on which unit needs your MOS.3. To be issued the M39 you will need to be a designated marksman usually those who shoot 240 or above for qual get that job. M39 is not usual issued you will likely use the m-21 or m-25 variants or the SAMR.

Glad to answer. Theres quite a difference between throwing bales of hay that way 75 pounds once every few minutes and walking for 13.3 hours with something that ways as much as you do on your back. Your talking about throwing hay bales with intervals of no weight between throws and comparing it to constant HEAVY weight on your shoulders and back. theyre not even close. and for 40 miles? think about it.

40 mile hike??? In one sitting? How long did these hikes take? I’ve made some long movements and I’ve heard of guys going 60 miles over the course of 3 days but I don’t ever recall hiking that long. There’s so many kids that fell out of 10 milers (At least I think it was 10. How many miles it is to go from Wallace Creek in Lejeune to SR25 down the street from Onslow Beach. It was baaaad. And it was one of the hikes I did surprisingly well on. The guys in my section were falling out…seniors, junior guys…And one of my junior guys said one day “We respect you and Stone the most LCPL”. Why ? “Cause you don’t really F with us and you never fall out of hikes”. I mean sometimes I wish I messed with them a little more…but I wasn’t super enthused at that point. I was the silent but violent type. I yelled maybe one or two times just to let them know I would do it. And when the unit turned on me later down the line, they stuck up for me and took care of me.
