Nice video.. What I used to do is stop the running compressor first by collecting the refrigerant in the condenser, LO low pressure cutout and close all the valves. Then only I start the other compressor by opening all three valves. So we need to transfer the gas from the condenser of the one which we are stopping or we can stop it directly?
@marine-knowledge-basha
@marine-knowledge-basha 3 ай бұрын
u can stop directly..

Very informative video . Please do more video such kind with particular explanations. Step by step . Only one thing I couldn’t understand what is the reason to isolate non- tuning compressor after all action been done ? Close all valve suction , discharge , water cooling . What can happen if remain all valves open ?
@marine-knowledge-basha

Thanks for ur good compliment...if we keep the valve open The gas can go to the compressor and can lead to low pressure for the running compressor and also its alwys safe to keep the valves shut for the stby compressor

@@marine-knowledge-basha what is the reason of low pressure alarm 🚨 and high pressure alarms 🚨. Why those two alarms are integrated in the system as safety feature ? What does it safe ?

Is it possible to keep both condensers fully charged? So, no need for transfer gas every compressor change over
@marine-knowledge-basha
@marine-knowledge-basha 2 жыл бұрын
Its better to keep the running plant charged.
