It's wrong on so many levels, this I would have expected from the east end of Glasgow and still wouldn't in my eyes be acceptable, but seeing this happen to a loch side is just unbelievable and where has the council been to clean this mess up or at least to do anything. This has clearly been done over a lengthy period of time for that sort of litter to build up and instead of doing anything about it, just been neglected. This is not safe for the wildlife and it's not pleasant for our tourist industry. I mean imagine tourists arriving there, that's just embarrassing on so many levels I can't even sum this up in words.

the litter is from the loch bed and was pushed upto Arrochar by a storm from as far away as Dunoon depending on the loch current it could have ended up anywhere.

It's really sad that Scotland is the same as the rest of the UK and it looks like mostly plastic bottles and can? It is about time the UK at least embraced a deposit system on these items the same as the rest of the civilised world. England will not get a deposit for years!
