Torpedo Test Range - Loch Long

A torpedo test range located in Loch Long (Scotland) that was used by the Royal Navy. It closed in 1987 and has since been substantially damaged by fire. The buildings are now ruinous, but the piers are still accessible and regularly used for fishing or simply enjoying the views.

I didn't really know much about it at all until I started doing some digging around. It's a pretty interesting place.

i use to live in the houses right next to the old base my dad toney look after the base when it got taken over by our landlord plus my dad use to look after all the houses to my dad died in 1998 i moved away in 1999 the base was still standing then now is all gone is so sad to see it like that great video hugs admins rose
