First thing you want to do is get a dual pickup to cool everything down heat kills

I have the Spartan and M41. A little advice on both - If you notice water inside of the hull after running and you're not preventing it from coming in for whatever reason....Hood leaking, motor cooling jacket has too much water pressure. Then most likely there is water inside motor and will not dry out like on mine. The best thing is taking motor out and apart to dry plus the motor bearings need to be monitored for play on all your brushless motors.

Doesn't WD-40 disperse grease and oil? Wouldn't this remove the oil from the bearings?

Boo Ya even they dont know that wd 40 in NOT a lubricant its a solvent

Question my m41 widebody has an issue I believe I turn on receiver first then plug in 2 fully charged 3 cell lipos it does it’s sounds green light to indicate voltage drop but theres a blinking red light in we’re the receiver box is at if that accounts to anything boat is on its stand mind you but when I pull throttle our steering wheel our any of the switches nothing happens also this boat is new I have never ran it I tried but all this happened can anyone please help thanks do I need to recalibrate perhaps iam lost

Sounds like you need to reconnect the transmitter to the boat. But it's been 3 months since you posted this so I'm wondering if that was the fix, and if not what did the problem end up being?

I’m having trouble removing my flex shaft on my m41. I’m sure what I’m doing wrong..do I need to remove the entire motor out in order for the flex shaft to easily slide out??

You should only need to loosen the two halves of the collet and remove the black cover. This should allow you to pull out the cable from the rear by pulling on the propeller (make sure the batteries are removed before going near the propeller). I put my Proboat Stealthwake(brushless setup) in the ocean. It was awesome. Did not flush it well. Sat up for a few months, basically everything was ruined except ESC. Learned my lesson.

I just ran my m41 in saltwater and pretty much the moment i took it out i ran clean water through the cooling system before the hot electronics dried the saltwater in there and then i used wd40 to push whatever water was left out and hit the line with air gently. Soaked everything else metal with it as well, all the stuff in the rear and bearings so far so good.

Hello guys. The propeller cable of my Spartan just broke, the boat lost the propeller in the middle of the lake. Brand new, first use. Any idea why that happened? 😢

Rip bro... did you grease everything first or did you run it out of the box? If you ran it out of the box before greasing anything that's what killed it. Every 15 min is crazy...

Issues with Blast cavitating. Appears to have all power, but will not get up to speed. I have followed troubleshooting advice via Traxxas, but nothing seems to work. I have checked the prop...no issues. Worked with the trim...no change. Anything that I am not thinking of..?

I have always used Marvel Mystery ( drops / spray ) oil :) super effective and Lubes everything :)

Are the batteries suppose to get wet ? Most runs they get wet and ones already puffing , it's a traxxas battery too

If ur afraid of getting the lips wet use some electrical tape around them to keep some water out. Also don’t store them charged.

Fishing pole with a weight cast to the backside and slowly reel in over and over until you get it to hook and definitely slowly reel in take it easy when you're out far but when you're near the shore give it what it gots and do not turn until you slow way down and turn the QT I believe all the way off the thing that helps you to control is horrible to have on especially at high speed it will start trying to turn and correct and say bye-bye make sure your batteries are strapped in really good use all the velcro on it I put my batteries all the way forward to help with the Wheeling and change the pitch of your prop a little downwards to force the nose down just a tiny bit

What do you call the tiny rubber bit that is on the stuffing tubing? Mine broke off after the 2 or 3 time I ran it. I need to put another piece of plastic on there because I feel like water is getting inbetween the tubing and the drive strut. I know it is. I've been putting a piece of tape around the tube and the shaft to try and keep water from pushing in, but are there slamm plastic tube piece you sell? Maybe I'll just find some plastic tubing that fits over the aluminum tube at the local hardware store
