The terrain is the Himalayan Areas of Uttarakhand in Ranikhet. Ranikhet is the regimental centre of The Kumaon Regiment ( you can see KUMAON written on the shoulders of Indian Soldiers). Jai Hind 🇮🇳🙏. I myself am a Kumaoni and have many family members in the Kumaon Regiment 🇮🇳

Hi there, At 6:44 you said that's an interesting way of sweeping weapons. Actually this is done because the terrorists have boobytrapped their weapons and bodies with strings attached to a grenade on their bodies, and when a soldier tries to sweep weapon or the dead-body of a terrorist, string attached to the grenade's pin is pulled and due to this reason a dead terrorist can also kill several personnels. This is the reason, why it's done. In the video, as it was a training session, the weapon was sweeped from very small distance, otherwise it's performed from a much far distance in real life situations.

13 Kumaon is a infantry unit ...Rezangla is their battle honour...there is no charlie company instead there is Rezangla company...Rezangla is the place high altitude near China border where whole company fought till last man last bullet....and died with only 6 wounded in pows...in1962 ....I know all this coz it was my father's unit🙏🙏
