I checked this out of a library once and it has stuck with me ever since. I was not aware of how brutal and sad this was going to be. To this day, I admire her bravery and the sacrifice she made to save these passengers. While it stinks that she was awarded after her death, I am glad she did not die in vain and people respect what she did. I am still amazed about the number of passengers she rescues from the highjackers. I can’t imagine how her family and loved ones felt.

Obviously it’s a harrowing film to watch till the end but Ram Madhvani added a depth and nuance usually lacking in the ‘People be kidnapped and trying to escape’ genre. P.S. You didn’t butcher the name, Andrew.

The acting job becomes easier when the writing and character is well written. Sonam was good is Neerja and somewhat in Ranjhanaa because her character was brilliantly written. But if you see her performance in movies like Khoobsurat, Zoya factor, ELKDTAL, Thankyou etc, you will see that she isn't a very good actor, her dialogue delivery and ability to portray emotions is very bad.

Pan Am Flight 73 was a Pan American World Airways flight from Bombay, India, to New York, United States with scheduled stops in Karachi, Pakistan and Frankfurt, West Germany. On September 5, 1986, the Boeing 747-121 serving the flight was hijacked while on the ground at Karachi by four armed Palestinian men of the Abu Nidal Organization. The aircraft, with 360 passengers on board, had just arrived from Bombay. A grand jury later concluded that the militants were planning to use the hijacked airliner to pick up Palestinian prisoners in both Cyprus and Israel. More than twenty passengers were killed during the hijacking, including nationals from India, the United States, Pakistan, and Mexico. All the hijackers were arrested and sentenced to death in Pakistan. However, the sentences were later commuted to life in prison. Neerja Bhanot, head attendant on the flight, was shot dead and posthumously received the highest civil award Tamgha-e-Pakistan from Pakistan as well as India's highest peacetime award for bravery, the Ashok Chakra Award, for her efforts to save passengers' lives.

The reason I liked this channel more than other reaction channels is that Jaby has knowledge of film making, he understands camera angles and how difficult some sequences must be to shoot. He also understood if volume of his the video was too high and then he would adjust it, he would know right away if the person next to him is not looking right at the camera while speaking to the viewers, also adjusted size of the subtitles when needed. Although I love other members reactions,they know nothing about these things. Steph was out of focus the entire time she reacted to ZNMD, in one of the videos volume was too high and we couldn't hear what you guys were saying. Andrews T shirt was too distracting in one of the videos. And in this video subtitles are tiny😐
