Your casting this CNSL is the first BW I've watched and its been excellent. The format was great, the multi-Bo1 videos at the start meant I quickly learned a lot about how the matchups worked, along with your ability to explain things that you've probably explained dozens of times, with good energy every time you do it. Thanks for casting, its been a blast.

You’re giving us Oldtimers such a great time during your casts, the depth you offer throughout these games, I think, even across other esports, is unheard of. Thanks so much for your contribution to this great game. Hoping for many more years of bw to come! Cheers from Germany ❤

It's one thing for a map to favour one side or the other. But when a map favours trivial allins it completely destroys the quality of a match. I would have thought that the BW community would have figured out how to make maps by now, after 25 years

Arty, I’m not too well-versed on the builds as you are so can you explain why when building the photon cannon in the first game was an automatic win for Protoss?
@paulchang92725 ай бұрын
Look at that last push with about a dozen marines and scvs and how quickly the two cannons shut that down. One cannon can kill many marines.
@MondSemmel5 ай бұрын
Photon cannons shoot quickly and two-shot marines. Plus it's a highground expansion, so the attacker on the low ground struggles to maintain vision and has a ~50% miss chance up the ramp.

It made sense to me. Going 6 fact is super strong. Toss almost always goes reaver nowadays to slow down the Push or 3rd base if they go that route. I think Leapfrogging slowly takes too much time. That being said I think he should've taken a third base and went for a 2-1 type timing.

I haven't played Starcraft in years and never competitively, so maybe I just don't know but it didn't seem to me that the map had anything to do with how that game played out. It looked to me like a blind counter that was then converted into a rush when he thought he had an advantage. The rush was held and the game ended. That happens all the time on all kinds of maps.

Not sure why but in the last game Scan had a big supply deficit from almost the beginning that just kept increasing. I know P usually has higher supply than T but it was a bigger difference than that. The first big engagement doesn't go Motive's way but even after that (right before the second engagement) Motive's still up 50% in supply. It feels like Scan just got overwhelmed by army size.
