Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga boss Cackletta

Yes its time already, this time the bros go against the big cheese herself Cackletta. ahhh but this isn't the final boss. This time she fights instead of getting someone else to do her dirty work. For the record Cackletta rules.
Personally this fight is annoying, she kept spamming that clone move of hers, she really wanted a long battle =p. I can't believe Luigi got hit by the first attack, and then the second =p. I must of been distracted or something =p It didn't look like i was trying......i was, just have no excuses for that mistake.
Enjoy and i hope i never have to suffer against another duplicate attack 5 times in a row. (Also the battle music rules)

It even *feels* like you're fighting the final boss early gameplay-wise. Cackletta's a massive jump in difficulty from the rest of the game up to that point, and the huge amount of EXP she gives upon defeat is only matched by endgame bosses.

I know she’s been gone for over 13 years at this point but I’ve always said to myself that if we ever got an animated adaptation of the Mario & Luigi series, I would have loved to see Eartha Kitt portray Cackletta. Implement some of her experience with Yzma from the Emperor’s New Groove or Queen Vexus from My Life as a Teenage Robot into the role, if you will.

Nope, the soundtrack is a combination of cackletta and fawful theme so originally it was going to be a theme of both but in the american version there was an error and they ended up putting the theme of popple in the fawful fight

When cackletta clone herself, u can tell which one is the real one by looking at the three shadows, look carefully and hit the shadow thats different from the others two, one may be smaller or bigger than the others two.(I could be wrong)

+TailsPrower In a way Antasma has alot of resemblance to Cackletta, his body shape is very familiar, as pointed out the two of them can become a swarm of bats, bats whom can set a status effect on the Bros. (Cackletta poison and Antasma Sleep) Alongside this, both of them can clone themselves, Cackletta uses it to buy time whilst Antasma clone himself to attack, but still very similar. I do wonder if it is intentional or not.

What I like about this is it's so unexpected, like at first I thought I would be fighting Fawful again but at a more difficult stage, and Cackletta escapes as Fawful holds us off, but turns out you're fighting her, the main antagonist, right here instead of thinking you'd only fight her when you got to the final boss. Fighting the main antagonist in the middle of the game instead of in the final part of the game? Brilliant.

Really great that you actually beat Cackletta halfway through the game, and along with the disaster with Birdo's voice that makes Cackletta and Fawful panic, there's an impression given that sometimes things go right for the good guys. And yet there's still that sense of fighting overwhelming odds when Fawful unites Cackletta with Mario's classical antagonist of Bowser and for the final boss you have to fight the soul of the boss you killed half a game earlier

The start of this fight is crazy because she always get the offensive and the attack looks like you should dodging lighting, you start mashing, fall in a hole you ignored because lightning, then you get the heavy debuff making other attacks hard to dodge too, and in her Soul Fight she also goes first unless you've specced in speed, and you start that fight at 1 HP, has to be one of my fav boss in video games

It's easy, just use your items of Mushrooms to refill the HP, or Syrup to refill the Bro Attack points, The real Cackletta: Watch closely until you see her lifts up all two arms, for a double-lighting strike like the letter, "T" knowing that's her.

It says that to wake the beanstar, it must hear the sound of a beautiful voice so Cackletta and Fawful went to Mushroom Kingdom and stole Peach's voice but they accidently stole Birdo's voice which they used on the beanstar but itmade the beanstar angry when the birdo-voiced robots spoke to it.
