In reguard to Yoshi's voice, have you tried tracking down and watching "Mario and Yoshi No Bokan Land"? It's a half hour animated program that's *125%* more accurate to the character designs of "Super Mario World" than DiC Entertainment's cartoon. There, the voice of the yellow Yoshi is of a woman who also voices Pikachu (in the Pokemon anime). The oice for the green Yoshi, however, is the voice I'm focusing on; you can also hear this voice in Japanese Nintendo commercials (like the one for "Mario Paint").
