Mario Kart 9 is going to be insane. Tracks are going to be as a racing game.

Probably 48 tracks(over 12 cups, 6 nitro, 6 retro) at launch, access for booster course pass if the player want it and maybe extra 24 tracks(over 6 cups) as DLC

Maybe haha, but I really can't imagine more long term or experienced players paying much mind to these rankings because of their simplicity. Would be nice to have a bit more depth there

Great video, but coins do have purpose in mk8dx. They give small speed boosts which add up with each coin which is important in time trials and in normal races

Yeah of course. But just like anti-gravity they've ripped off CTR with that mechanic. But that series has the item mechanic as well as the speed boost. I think coins should have a bit more purpose or should be cut. I don't really like the mechanic as is.

I think that's rather unlikely. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe sales are still so strong that releasing another Mario Kart would mean losing out on more sales. They will probably save the next Mario Kart for the next console, probably near its launch, to be a system seller. That's what I think, at least
