Easily the most intense Mario Kart Wii series, period, every race up until final was so cutthroat and intense, Police getting out super early, Troy barely surviving every GP, the INSANE Koopa Cape race, and Rock Sea’s insane performance, everything about this invitational was insane

The whole KO series and especially the Invitational were so exciting and fun to watch. I honestly wasn't expecting that before Day 1. Crazy how much the people have improved during the season, at first it looked like it would be very unbalanced with 2 to 3 people absolutely destroying everyone else. Result of Final 8 was still a huge shocker, that must have went really unlucky. Good games and respect to everyone who participated 👏🏻 . Looking forward to the next one!

This is a certified “It is time for the 99,999cc knockout invitational, the most STRESSFUL tournament we’ve ever done on this channel! This means very little commentary compared to usual, because of the ABSURD level of competition and here’s the format: 4-race GPs with double elimination until the final 6 and single elim till the end…no items, no bonuses! But before all of the festivities, we had the closest tiebreaker ever…on the last corner, BossBoy got out, meaning Brodie and TKS Memer qualified for the two remaining spots! This series came with a lot of SURPRISES and it turns out the Wario Bike was the META the whole time and if you don’t believe me, just look at this first race!” classic!

Easily the most fun tournament series to watch by far! The track selection may have been small but the way you had to work around the ridiculous speed with the different tracks was awesome! Although I gradually lost interest in playing the game mode over time, the invitational was so fun to watch, especially the finals! And with all the upsets along the way it really was a rollercoaster of a ride! personally, if I were the one that got to choose the first 16 tracks, this is the strategy I would use first, I'd identify my biggest competition and find the tracks that I think I have a good chance at beating them at and put them in a list of tracks that I want played in the second half. Those would be tracks that I (mostly) wouldn't pick from second, I'd identify the 8 remaining tracks that I'm going to struggle a lot on and organize those into the first four GPs with two at the beginning of each GP. I'd have my worst two in the first and fourth GP, as those have the lowest elimination to population ratio, giving me the best chance to survive third, I'd consider taking some tracks from the first step and putting them into GP 3, which has the highest elimination ratio of all the GPs I have control over. Doing this would hopefully help guarantee my survival through GP 3 and onwards. As for the remaining tracks I have control over, I'd kinda just put them down as I feel like, just avoiding taking tracks identified in the first step, instead leaving those up to the randomizer in the second half
