Mario Kart in Tokyo | The Ultimate Go Kart Experience!

We took the plunge and went Go Karting in Tokyo while dressing up as Mario characters with some of our friends.
If you've ever played Mario Kart and drove the highway level where drive next to live traffic, well this is exactly how it is like in real life, but better!

loved when he said driving extremly safe in Japan unlike in North America. For Swiss North American drivers are really boring, but Switzerland is nothing compared with German Autobahn or Italian city driving. Even worse is Brazil, Russia, Indonesia etc. But nothing tops India! You guys are so cute.

How did you record it? Are you allowed to drive with one phone in hand or would you know if I'd be able to use a flexible tripod to connect to the metal bars in front?

I just held the phone with one hand but that's probably not the safest thing to do. It also held me back from getting shots when the car was going faster. A flexible tripod would be way better.

Information from Japan.This cart has recently been doing also in the news, and there are many accidents, so the law will be revised. Wearing a seatbelt etc. is mandatory.

Hi, it depends on which country you are from in Canada (where we are from) there is a national auto association called CAA that you can purchase them from. In the USA it would be AAA. It's pretty easy to get and not too expensive. We were able to get it in one day. Hope that helps

Thanks for the comments. We did our tour with Maricar, this is the main company that everyone signs up with in Tokyo. They are located 10min walking distance south of Shinagawa station.

2:10 that is wrong. You can translate your drivers license in Tokyo to a japanese license, or more a japanese translation. So you do not net an international one^^ Costs about 25$

Thanks for the information, this is the first time I am hearing about this! Quick question, how long does it take to have your license translated in Tokyo, and is the location convenient to reach? The reason I ask is that at least in our home country an international license is really easy to get, and takes no time and so if you can get take care of this in your home country then it's one less thing to do on your vacation. With that said someone in our group did forget their international drivers permit and had they known your advice it would have helped them be able able to join us. Thank you for the great feedback!!

dude that is for foreigners that will stay in japan longterm, not for tourists that only come here for a short time. even if it was granted for tourists to change their foreign license to a japanese one (which they dont do for tourists and takes a while with more testing for you to do), it would take longer than just going to your AAA office (in the US), ADAC in germany, or similar office to get a permit. takes less than 15 mins. Your advice sucks and sounds ignorant

@@DiepSpartan119 the CAA international driver's permit is exactly what we used to so so once you are able to get it you are good to go! what is nice about the CAA IDP is that it lasts for 1 year I think

Domanation Travels yes its only lasts for one year because once you are traveling to country for two weeks visit you get to ride cars like rent or borrow as a international drivers permit with a license
