I personally think the feather should be much higher, you can do crazy shortcuts in super mario kart and also jump over obstacles that can spin you out. However, I'm glad that the heart and boo are both placed quite high. They are so underrated, and literally give you extra items plus acting as a shield. Great list overall!

I think the bullet bill, is honestly the best item. You can Get quickly trough very difficult, slow, or complicated parts of a track very quickly, it Also knocks out those in front of you if it hits them, wich you yourself can make sure of if times correctly, and it can Also save you from being hit, of you see a incomming item toward you.

I really hope the next entry after Mariokart 8 is just a compilation of everything the series has to offer: Every track, every racer, every mode, and every CC across the series. Cart customization is included, but there are also presets that exist as the different carts that could be selected in previous games. Races could be played in Singles or Doubles, with doubles allowing the use of characters’ signature items. Also something I wish was included in Mariokart 8’s DLC: A way to customize the Lucky 7/Crazy 8 specifically, and allowing the use of any other items. For example, I could set the rules to only allow Crazy 8’s, and every Crazy 8 is guaranteed to have 4 Stars and 4 Lightnings

Red shells aren’t as useful in Mario Kart 8 battle mode. Since it isn’t in a race format of scoring, the homing system is weird and doesn’t work well, so it often just runs into a wall and breaks.

I agree with a person when he says that the blue shell doesn't really help the user win. All it does is punish the racer in first. You cant even get this thing unless you're like in 8th or last(correct me if I'm wrong). You may advance like 1 or 2 places in the race if the shell hits the plauers directly in front of you on the way to first but thats not a great advantage to have really.

In Mario Kart DS, I once got the Blue Shell in 4th place. I don't if it was due to how far back i was from the leader or if thats possible in other games. But you don't have to be dead last. Just less likely the further up you are.
