Welcome to my Mario Kart Tour Gameplay Series! In this series, I'll be showing viewers how to beat all the courses without spending any money (Free-to-Play)! If you're excited for Mario Kart Tour and want to see more episodes, be sure to (👍) and turn on notifications (🔔) for more!
What is considered F2P (Free-to-Play)?
There are a few levels of Free-to-Play that are considered:
▪️ True F2P: One who doesn't spend any rubies on The Pipe and only uses Tour Gift characters.
▪️ F2P: One who uses rubies on The Pipe, but doesn't spend any money on purchasing Rubies or Gold Pass with Real Money.
▪️ F2P-Friendly: One who uses Rubies on The Pipe, doesn't spend money on purchasing Rubies, and purchases the subscription of the Gold Pass.
At any given time, a user can utilize the Free Gold Pass Trial towards the end of a tour, in order to get Gold Pass Rewards of both Tours, once per account.
When making my videos, I classify somewhere between F2P and F2P-Friendly. I don't spend money on the app for rubies outright - never have never will. As far as the Gold Pass is concerned, I use free funds earned from Google Opinion Rewards (play.google.co...) to afford the $4.99 on a different device, due to the fact that there is an error on my device when trying to subscribe to it. I claim the Gold Pass rewards on the last day of the tour on that alternate device, so I don't miss out on having the ability to show viewers how to use the Gold Pass exclusive Drivers/Karts/Gliders. Since Rubies are the only thing that isn't transferable from device to device, my alternate account has all the Gold Pass Rubies that are piling up without being spent.

The problem with the bubble is you go so slow. Without Miniturbo boosts and dash panels along with the actual speed nerf while using the bubble it will be just as painful/useless as it is now. And with Bomb Cannon, idk if I’m just good with it but I land 2-5 hits consistently with it.

I think if you could pop it at any time it would better. Use it to take that off road shortcut while maintaining your combo, then pop it once you get back on the track. That small little change would make this item pretty good, definitely a candidate for mid B tier to high C tier

Hi Abdallah!. I really like your tier. Congrats doing it!. This is pretty similar to the comment i did in the last video. I entirelly agree with you in everything. except in two things. The first one is that bowser shell is placed really low and it should be not. My reason is that you don't always are in first place, so it allows you to recover places or if you are relly behind make som e good combos (that usually happens when everyone hits you). Not only that, it gives you the possibility to recover that first place that you lost and allows you to reach that first play you lost due to rng. The second thing is the following. You should not rate characters based on the cpu using them for your benefit. The main reason for this is the following: You can use any character even the worst characters in the tier and have a peach vactation as a cpu rival. You can also have a peach vacation using peach vacation. For you the user you can benefit equally from either one of those characters so if there is an S character is important if you are the player but not important if you are using any character. I did hear what you said in the video and I'm plenty aware that it affects. However. The cpu can bring any character wihout you the player having the option to decide on that. Since this is a tier list it should be done about what the player can choose or play with, rather than not because if you get a coin box character in a race that is purely luck. Nevertheless the tier list is amazing and I even agree and would put pretty similar places. Maybe dash characters should be higher?. I don't know. Which software are you using to make that?

Honestly, Bananas > Lucky 7 > Mushrooms > everything else. That being said I would assume Bus Driver Waluigi is looking like the best character right now (because he's also the only high end banana character right now). And no, Diddy Kong doesn't really count in that banana tier... His item is just way too much of a pain to dodge for yourself. Coin boxes and mushroom cannons are crap imo because you have to actually TRY to hit your bonus coins and mushrooms. Point of tier lists really is, least struggle for the most reward. That's the reason for my thinking.

If I had to take a guess, the next tier list is Version 1.3 😆 I noticed a few times with the bowser shell it moves forward directly in the middle of the road. So a possible way to avoid it is hugging the left or right sides of the road? Keep at D Tier. For that sneeze, God bless you. A skill I want to see is the yellow cape Mario and Luigi got from a feather from Super Mario World. The cape reflects items back like a shell, fire flower and let’s you fly on command lol

The problem with Triple Red Shells is that it will send 3 of them out simultaneously when tossed. That's how they programmed the double and triple items. I guess it could align differently, but it would be a waste to use them.

They should bring back fake item boxes, especially when multiplayer releases. They'll have bigger hitboxes than bananas but smaller than a giant banana, and they'll stun your kart for slightly longer.

I see Coin Box and Triple Bananas are currently the only specials used by seasonal drivers (who only appear in the specific tour). Bubble and Mushroom Cannon appear to be only in one rarity category: Normal (Bubble) and only High-End (Mushroom Cannon).

We’re probably gonna need a whole new tier list for it, too! :0 cus think about it, a Mushroom Cannon character is great for single player (especially when you pick up a CPU’s mushrooms) but for multiplayer you wouldn’t want to pick a Mushroom Cannon character because it would help your opponents win Would love to see a Multiplayer tier list when the game mode is finally implemented!

Lakitu’s spiny shell should be in there, I think it would be dope if it could crack open and have the Spiny come out and be included in the attack. A tanooki suit would be interesting, too, where you can leave the statue behind you, they may have to place parameters on how it is used or its limits.

I think helping other drivers with the Mushroom Cannon and Dash Rings is a downside. They're good on the receiving end, but helping other drivers move faster is bad. Or did you take that into account and just commenting on the side about that? Overall, a good list. Bowser Shell might be a spot higher since the frenzy is good as long as you're not in first and the item without frenzy is good, too.

I think triple red shell characters might happen and even triple bomb characters but hopefully one year after launch. But if they ever do that I wish they could allow us to change a characters special skill, like for example: upgrade triple green shells to red shells, upgrade double bombs to triple, etc. Here are some fun power creep ideas: -golden shell, it leaves a trail of coins! -golden egg, also leaves trail of coins! -golden flower, leaves 3 trails of coins!!!

I actually hate Mushroom Cannon, and here is why. If you’re playing well and spending most of the race in 1st, its very rare to get a mushroom cannon outside of a frenzy. If you’re not already in first, when you use the cannon, there is a potential for it to hit the people in front of you, which creates a larger gap between you and 1st. There is also the chance that you miss one or two and the person behind you gets them, thus closing the gap between them and you. In my opinion the Mushroom Cannon is too volatile to be a viable option for a top tier weapon.

Green shells and fireballs could be split (with green shells higher) as when you get hit by listening and lose your items, a green shell stays behind in place, potentially taking out another driver, whereas fireballs do not.

amazing list! I would say that lucky sevens is higher than triple bananas 🍌 just because you have more control over maximising points and having different methods of hitting means u can keep the combo going in almost any situation. whereas the bananas can help down the line but it’s ultimately just luck if they will be there at the critical moment. not to mention how lucky seven frenzy can take you from the back to the front so quickly. i think the banana canon can do this as well to some extent. so the triple bananas should be closer to the banana canon as well I feel... but yeah all the tiers seem on point

I would honestly switch the placements of the boomerang and the yoshi egg since the yoshi egg is just like a better version of a red shell aside from the boomerang who acts both as a weapon a shield to stuff like green and red shells, with the boomerang you also can hit multiple people and hit objects like cones, piranha plants and crates/boxes

I think that metal mario is better than the other fire specials because he’s a legendary, and relatively easy to get. This means that he can get like three frenzy’s per race. I know you said it’s not based on value but here I think that the line blurs.

Here’s why you gotta stop considering the benefit you get when a computer uses a skill: The tier list should be useful. You should be able to use it to determine which characters to prioritize buying, pulling for, and leveling up. Ideally it would also help for a situation where you have 2 frenzy drivers on a ranked track and need to know which character has the potential of getting a higher score. Those are the things people need to know, and those are the things people check a tier list for. How you are affected by a computer’s skills isn’t relevant for any of those questions. It doesn’t help you make better decisions. And if we aren’t making better decisions then what’s the point?

Boomerang should be above egg if you compare frenzies. it's simply superior, free hits everywhere (including goombas, pipes, cones, trees etc.), coins, plus if you're using gold glider it's a monstrous combination for points. I'd argue boomerang frenzy should be in A tier.

If you're in the middle of the pack, a boomerang frenzy will not allow you to catch up to first, whereas Yoshi's egg is a better red shell and will take the road to hit people in front a distance away.
