Mario Kart Wii - Bomb vs Mushroom, who will win?

Not what I expected, to say the least...
This was taken from an item rain friend room that I was doing on Twitch earlier! I accidentally threw a bomb when I spammed the L trigger one too many times after obtaining a box, there was a mushroom in the way, and... that happened!
This kind of thing must be so rare, it's amazing that the designers considered what should happen in this circumstance, rather than the bomb just clipping through or immediately blowing up. I've never seen that behaviour before, but I damn well want to see it again sometime :P

I'm trying to install ctgp but the first step on your installation guide is to download Banner Bomb. Would there be any way to add Gliders to CTGP? I know it's not that necessary, but for the 3DS tracks, it would be really cool. And, at least then there would be another option for custom tracks than just adding a cannon.

Gliders will not be happening for a long, long time. That’s far too much work, and then you would have to consider all of the bugs that could ruin it. Maybe if they could be ported over, but making them from the ground up? That’s just not gonna happen.

MrBean35000vr, I got an idea for an addition for the upcoming update of CTGP, and yeah I'm really not sure if it will work, now you can only have like 50 custom musics on your CTGP because every track will play on one track music, will it be possible to give each track in CTGP his own BRSTM so it will be completely your choice which music you'll hear on each track?

can someone tell me why everytime i vote for a track on wiimmfi, i’m always the first vote? even if i wait until the last second, my vote always still pops up as first, and everyone else’s votes are already displayed, this is really annoying because this is a regular thing, and my tracks don’t get picked because the first vote never gets picked. i was in a 3 player room for an hour, and my track diddnt get picked once, regardless of when i select it.

Where you appear on your voting screen is different to where everyone else sees you on theirs. And if you think that the first vote never gets picked, you're wrong, because of that fact :P

Error 91010 is a disconnect from the GPCM server, which could be the result of a kick or ban. In simpler terms, either wiimmfi is kicking you for some reason or you've been banned (unlikely). Search your mii name in this list of kicks and bans: wiimmfi.de/show-bans

23886 = Wait 6 days for console activation. 20100 = No Internet connection/can't find Wiimmfi. On CTGP, it could also mean you didn't verify with our server/check for updates before starting the game (did it say CTWW is disabled?)

For CTGP, you have to make sure the automatic updater is set to "ON" or "Verify only", and then not skip verification, or it won't let you play online. We gotta make sure you have the same tracks as everyone else, after all! If you leave it off, you must manually go to the updates section and get the "No updates available" message each time you want to play online.

I feel like the game's programming with stationary items is "attempt to destroy the existing item", then "place the new item nearby". This would mean that you could, for example, bounce a Banana off of a Star.

True, but that would imply that green shells would bounce of mushrooms too, but they don't, they pass through them. The mushroom animates, but doesn't get in the way, nor is it destroyed.

I have an idea for a gamemode, its called sabotage or something like that. you have a team of 3,4 or 5 against the rest, the goal is, if your on the team of 3-5, to finish 3 laps, if your on the other team the goal is to make sure the opponents don't finish with in a certain time(The people on this team can't finish a lap). if you wanted you could have one team only getting specific items.

You need to understand what that patcher actually does. It's not permanent. Every time you want to play online, you have to run it. Otherwise you go straight back to the shutdown error.
