I forget which track it was (this was more than a decade ago when I still played CTGP lol) but there was one that had an ultra shortcut “patched” by making it into a troll cannon sequence. That was pretty funny.

I played Mario Kart Wii through a good portion of my childhood, but it's so weird to realize that there is so much story and content behind the game that I never had the chance to know. Videos like this are being my go-to entertainment for the past weeks. Heck, I even played Mario Kart Wii after so many years! It felt so good!

Fun fact: The easter egg on Underground Sky is actually one of the very first "test" custom tracks made by the creator (EC2 Joshi), that was never publicly released or named as far as we know. But, once track creators figured out how to make 1-lap custom tracks, Joshi released an alternate, 1-lap version of Underground Sky that included this easter egg as part of the track. In this version, there are also two more extremely long cannons that you use to drive on two more of Joshi's early CTs before finishing the course, Mushroom Land and Ruin Labrynth. You can find videos for all of these from 12+ years ago on his channel "nfojoshi"

BigOto was the greatest CT creator in the early years. Fishdom Island, Thunder City, Sunset Ridge, Lunar Spaceway, Pipe Underworld, and Halogen Highway were all GOATed for when they were first made. He was also the original creator of 3DS Rainbow Road.

FR Memer, it was a good track for it’s time back when it was first made. And as bad as it is today with the current version, it’s much better than Shadow’s version.

@LiamDeege nah today's version is boss bro trust me (it's my favourite ctgp track and has been for a while)
@LiamDeegeАй бұрын
@@TKS_Memer No I agree I still think it’s cool for nostalgic reasons although I understand why people don’t like it, but I hate to see people calling tracks bad just for being old and outdated.
